The need for a full brim doesn't necessarily end when winter arrives. You still need to keep wind, sleet, snow - and even UV rays - off your face and neck. Hefty, tightly-woven 100% virgin wool has been Teflon-treated for added stain and water-resistance. Lined with soft microsueded polyester combined with a Hydrofil anti-sweat band for superior moisture wicking. Form-fitting and comfortable fold-down hidden earflaps. A separate fold-down forehead protector gives added protection when the wind really picks up. The contoured brim (2 3/4" front/back, 2" sides) slopes down to shelter the face and neck and is monofilament stabilized to maintain its shape when wet or snow caked - yet the hat is completely crushable/foldable/packable. A size equalization strap on the sweatband allows you to snug the hat for skiing/sledding, or loosen it for wear with a balaclava. Crown height: 4". Made in Canada. Colors: Charcoal or Autumn Tweed. Sizes: 6 7/8 to 8, and 8+ (8+ has adjustable sweatband fitting size 8 to 8 1/4). Many prefer to order this hat one size larger than normal.
