Purists may frown, but those who engage in "wet" activities that would destroy a traditional straw hat are gonna love this straw alternative. This hat was developed using handwoven polypropylene "TechStraw" strands, resulting in a hat that looks like straw and breathes/keeps cool like straw, but is absolutely unaffected by any amount of water exposure. In addition, the hat floats, resists dirt and sweat stains, is hand-washable, is crushable/packable and very tear resistant in fact, short of throwing it in a fire we haven't found a way to ruin one! Also has nice features like Dri-Lastic wicking sweatband, clever stowaway chincord, and a cambuckle nylon web hatband that allows customization of fit. Brim size: 3 ".
