A broad-brimmed, lightweight Tilley with a taller, "pinched" front crown. The tapered crown gives a slimmer profile, while the added height brings more headroom and ventilation over the top of your head. The micro-denier nylon Nylamonite fabric is extremely abrasion-resistant, tear-resistant, fast drying, mildew-proof, and--thanks to a Teflon coating--stain-resistant and water-repellent. Though lightweight, the hat still blocks 98% of UVA/UVB rays, earning a maximum UPF rating of 50+. Closed-cell foam reinforced brim (3 1/2" front and back, 2-1/2" sides; same as T4 Tropics Hat) holds its optimized shape even when wet, and allows the hat to float, yet is flexible enough to be completely packable. Glare-reducing dark olive green underbrim. Stowable front and rear windcord system. Moisture-wicking Hydrofil anti-sweat band. Marine-grade brass vents and grommets. Machine washable.
